Timothy M. Manganello has been Chairman of BorgWarner, Inc. since June 12, 2003 and also its Chief Executive Officer since February 2003. Mr. Manganello serves as the Board Chairman of Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Detroit branch. He served as President of BorgWarner, Inc. from February 2002 to June 12, 2003. He also served as Chief Operating Officer of BorgWarner, Inc. from February 2002 to February 2003. He served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of BorgWarner, TorqTransfer Systems Inc. (“TorqTransfer Systems”) from July 2001 to January 2002. He also served as Vice President of BorgWarner Inc. and President and General Manager of TorqTransfer Systems from February 1999 to June 2001 and Vice President, Operations of TorqTransfer Systems, Muncie Plant from December 1995 to January 1999.

He serves as Trustee of Manufacturers Alliance/MAPI, Inc. He has been a Director of Bemis Co. Inc. since 2004 and Borgwarner Inc. since February 2002.

He holds bachelors degree from University of Michigan in mechanical engineering, masters degree from University of Michigan in mechanical engineering and completed Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School.
