Alexis Glick is an anchor and Vice President of Business News for FOX Business Network (FBN). Glick anchors Money for Breakfast (7–9 am EST) and Opening Bell (9-10 am EST). During her time at FOX Business, Glick has interviewed President-elect Barack Obama in addition to many of the nation’s top political and business news-makers including Bank of America CEO Ken Lewis, JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Gov. David A. Paterson (D-NY), former SEC Chairman Harvey Pitt.
She has reported for FOX Business from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland in 2008 and 2009, anchored the 2008 U.S. Presidential election for FOX Business, and has rung the opening bell at the NYSE and NASDAQ with U.S. business leaders. She also appears frequently on Fox News Channel with Sheppard Smith, Sean Hannity and Greta Van Susteren.
Prior to joining FOX, Glick served as a correspondent for the NBC’s national morning show The Today Show, where she co-anchored the third hour of the program. Before joining NBC, she was the senior trading correspondent for CNBC and reported from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange for CNBC’s Squawk Box. While at CNBC, Glick also contributed to Street Signs and Closing Bell.
Earlier in her career, Glick was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley where she headed the New York Stock Exchange Floor Operations. A member of the New York Stock Exchange since 2002, she was the first and youngest woman to manage such an operation for a bulge bracket firm, and served as one of its top producers on the Listed Equity Trading Desk. She began her career as an analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Equities Division
Glick is a graduate of Columbia University, where she now serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the College Alumni Association.
