David Etheridge is PwC's US Utilities and Power Generation Industry Leader, as well as the Partner in Charge of the US Utilities and Power Generation Advisory Practice. He brings over twenty-six (28) years of experience helping utility and energy companies solve systems, process, organization structure and reporting issues. David consults with these companies on a variety of matters including business process redesign, business systems requirements, regulatory initiatives, performance metrics, planning, budgeting and forecasting, and financial/SEC reporting.

David has worked with some of the largest Energy and Utility companies in North America. He has provided counsel and managed projects related to operational and organization process redesign initiatives and regulatory change readiness. David has also assisted these companies in their preparation for regulatory audits and other regulatory business matters.

David is active with technical reporting matters, as well as having served on the task force charged with assisting the FASB re-evaluate business combination accounting.
He is a frequent speaker at conferences on regulatory accounting matters, Operational Excellence, SEC reporting topics and business combinations and divestitures. He has authored articles on topics such as Utility Operational Excellence, Large Scale Capital Project Management, and Utility IT System Readiness.  David is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the states of Alabama, California and Georgia.
