Beth Chappell President & CEO Detroit Economic Club

Beth Chappell is the President and Chief Executive Officer, Detroit Economic Club (DEC), one of the nation’s premier speaking venues.  The club is a Non-Partisan, Non-Profit membership organization that is a platform for the debate and discussion on business, government and social issues of the day.

Before the Detroit Economic Club, Beth was Executive Vice President, Compuware Corporation and also led The Chappell Group management consulting company.  Before these positions, Ms. Chappell spent 16 years at AT&T Corporation.

Ms. Chappell sits on the boards of American Axle & Manufacturing Corporation, Detroit Regional Chamber, Brother Rice H.S., St. Joseph Mercy Foundation, Michigan Economic Growth Authority, United Way and Citizens Research Council.

Beth and her husband Warren live in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with three of their six children, Michael, Andrew and Kate.
